Ohio’s School-wide Positive Behavior Support and Interventions (SW-PBIS) is a framework for creating safe and orderly learning environments in schools, while improving the social-emotional outcomes for students. Training and coaching is provided through Ohio’s PBIS network. Five regional training opportunities are offered to train trainers to support implementation in school districts across Ohio.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction Richard A. Ross announced that Ohio schools may now submit school safety plans via a secure online portal. The portal is one of the many recommendations of the School Safety Task Force which have been implemented.
