Ohio's GED Voucher Program for Career-Technical Planning Districts Webinar
How do GED students apply for test vouchers and schedule to take on-line assessments? How should Career-Technical Planning Districts serve potential test takers in their areas? What role does the state GED office play in the new on-line fee reimbursement for first-time test takers? Superintendents, principals and other administrators who have responsibility for making decisions associated with student growth measures are strongly encouraged to register for an essential half-day training session, which will be conducted by educational service centers from Feb. 6 through March. The training will help administrators meet milestones on the evaluation timeline for the next few months, especially the legal requirements for completing teacher evaluations by May 1 and preparing written reports of the evaluations by May 10.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction Richard A. Ross announced that Ohio schools may now submit school safety plans via a secure online portal. The portal is one of the many recommendations of the School Safety Task Force which have been implemented.
