Adult High School Diploma Program Provider Application

Currently, there are over one million adults in Ohio without a high school diploma. The Adult (22+) High School Diploma Program creates a new pathway for these individuals ages 22 and over to earn a high school diploma. The provider application opens on March 16 for eligible educational institutions interested in providing this opportunity to adult learners.


Department issues guidance on Safe Harbor for 2014-2015

As Ohio transitions to new state tests, safe harbor gives schools, teachers and students time to adjust to the new tests. In most cases, there will no longer be consequences tied to the results of the state tests given in the 2014-2015 school year.

Guidance on Student Participation in State Tests

Many districts are receiving communication from families refusing their children’s participation in state tests this spring. The department encourages schools to talk with families about their concerns regarding testing.
