Career Tech Student Learning Objectives (SLO)

A student learning objective is a measurable, long-term academic growth target that a teacher sets at the beginning of the school year for all students or for subgroups of students. Student learning objectives demonstrate a teacher’s impact on student learning. The following are career tech SLO examples that are not intended to be inclusive. The Ohio Department of Education has created a new document that defines the roles and responsibilities of Facilitators who will support year 3 Resident Educators in the RESA process.

Master Teacher Scoring workshops are coming in September. Topics to be addressed include: creating a Master Teacher Program, supporting teachers during the process, scoring portfolios, and renewing the Master Teacher designation.
