The Straight A Fund is gearing up for the next round for Fiscal Year 15. The $250 million innovative grant project was created by Governor John R. Kasich this past summer. During the first round, 24 grants representing over 150 school districts and partnering organizations were awarded 88.6 million.
New EMIS override request form
The Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Career-Technical Education has a new form related to overriding data errors in EMIS. The override form is designed to preserve the quality of career tech programs, decrease the number of repeated errors and increase local and state efficiency. The state office pathway consultant, assistant director and associate director approval is assigned to nine different codes. The form can be downloaded here.
