2018-2019 Sponsor Evaluation Technical Assistance and Sponsor Improvement Session
The technical assistance session for the 2018-2019 sponsor evaluation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, in the General Session Room of the OCLC Conference Center at 6600 Kilgour Pl in Dublin, Ohio. The session will begin at 9am, with sign-in from 8:30 – 9am.
The technical assistance session will provide information on the three components of the sponsor evaluation- academic, compliance and quality- focusing primarily on those areas for which sponsors have requested more information as well as providing information on any differences or updates from the previous sponsor evaluation cycle. The afternoon portion of the agenda will cover Sponsor Improvement as sponsors work to support schools identified as Priority or Focus.
All sponsors must attend and may bring up to five participants. We strongly encourage sponsors to bring the person responsible for improvement to this session. Participants must register for this event through STARS using their SAFE account. From the STARS web page, enter “OCS” in search box to find the event.
We are still accepting feedback from sponsors on what topics they would like to see covered during the technical assistance session through a short survey. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey if you have not already done so. In preparation for the technical assistance session, please review the 2018-2019 sponsor evaluation videos and documents currently available on the Department’s website.
