The Parent and Family Involvement Survey is an instrument schools can use to measure their current family engagement practices. The 27-question survey asks families to give their perspectives on whether their schools are providing the six areas of services and conditions that research shows are effective for engaging families.
The Framework for Building Partnerships Between Schools, Families and Communities provides guidance for districts and schools to implement the survey, analyze the data and develop improvement plans.
