Attendance Rate and Chronic Absenteeism Reports in SDC
The attendance rate and chronic absenteeism reports that previously had been hidden are now restored and are available for review in the Secure Data Center.
 
EMIS ITC Conference Call Notes
The notes for the August 12, 2019, ITC Conference Call have been posted. You can find a short description of the purpose of the calls along with a link to the notes on the EMIS website.

FY19 Other Accountability Assessment Data Appeal Open Through August 22
Beginning Thursday, August 15 through Thursday, August 22, superintendents can appeal 2019 other accountability assessment data submitted to EMIS. This is the only opportunity to appeal this data.
 
A superintendent who finds inaccurate data should submit an appeal by the August 22 deadline using the 2019 Data Appeal for Other Accountability Assessments form.
 
The district superintendent, EMIS coordinator, and superintendent designee can access and fill out the data appeal forms. However, the forms are not officially submitted to the Department until the superintendent approves the form to complete the process.
 
The Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Data Quality encourages districts to submit data appeals before the August 22 deadline. Districts that have their appeals submitted and approved early will have more time to resubmit corrected data.
