EMIS Newsflash – January 17, 2017


Reminder: ODE ITC EMIS Trainings for January 2017
Dates and times for the January 2017 ODE ITC EMIS Trainings for district and ITC EMIS staff have been set. Delivery is via Skype for Business and Conference Call.

Prior registration is required. The January 2017 trainings will be offered on five different dates/times. The five trainings will include topics related to the Invalid Cert Report – Reporting Process Review, Data Sources Review and Troubleshooting the Report. Registrants will be able to select a date that best fits their schedule at the time of registration, as long as space is available. Capacity is 150 registrants per session.

For those who participate as a group (e.g., as/at an ITC), please note that only one person from the group will need to register in STARS. Acknowledgment of attendance will be based on sign-in sheets from the ITCs.

Registration is now available in the STARS application.

A SAFE account and completion of the STARS User Profile are required in order to register. Search for keyword “EMIS” within the STARS application to locate the trainings. A Skype meeting invitation will be emailed to each registrant. The email invitation will include full instructions for participating in the session, as well as any handouts.
