FY19 Fall Early Learning Assessment (A) Collection, v2
The Early Learning Assessment (ELA) missing list has incorporated new reporting rules for determining the students who should be on an LEA’s missing list. The main rules are as follows.
- If the student is being reported as included in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) grant, then the LEA that has been awarded the grant should report the ELA outcomes.
- If the student is a student with a disability and is not a participant in the ECE grant, then the district of residence should report the ELA outcomes, even if the district of residence is not the LEA that is educating the student. If the district of residence does not have the scores to be reported and the educating district or ESC has already reported the scores to EMIS, then the district of residence can download the scores from the assessment history module in ODDEX.

New EMIS Coordinator Training – Save the Date
There will be training for new EMIS Coordinators this April. The training will take place in Reynoldsburg and will be offered twice. The dates of the trainings will be Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 9. Watch the Newsflashes for additional information (including a notice of when registration will be available).
