Reset and Restart Education
The Department has created a webpage focused on resources and guidance related to the Reset and Restart of Ohio’s schools. The page is updated regularly to assist districts in planning for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. There are already many links and documents posted on this page for a wide variety of topics. The following two pages relate directly to questions we have received in the EMIS helpdesk.

• Planning for Blended or Remote Learning. This page includes a comparison of Blended Learning and Remote Learning, potential options for reopening in the fall, and frequently asked questions with answers.
• Attendance Considerations for Remote Learning Plans. Topics covered on this page include gauging attendance in remote learning situations, tracking absences, and local attendance and absenteeism policies.
