EOC Missing List Issue Resolved
Version 4 of the Spring End of Course Collection (release note below) resolves an issue with the Missing Report that was introduced on Thursday afternoon. The release on Thursday afternoon caused a student to appear on the missing report for a math course even if the appropriate math EOC assessment was being reported. For example, a student who had a result reported for ALG1 would have shown a missing record for MTH1 (and vice versa). The same was also true of the GEOM/MTH2 combination. This caused the missing report to have a high number of unexpected missing rows—we apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
As part of making sure each student that appears on the missing list only has 1 record per test required, we had to make a choice between each of the above math pairs when a student could need one or the other subject reported. If ODE knows that a student was enrolled in math but the student was not on the Vendor file received by ODE, then the subject that appears on the missing list will either be ALG1 or GEOM. If the district adds an assessment record for ALG1 or MTH1, the ALG1 result on the missing list will disappear; the same is true for GEOM/MTH2.
If you have any questions about the missing list, please submit them through the helpdesk.
