EMIS Newsflash – July 27, 2020
Secure Data Center Local Report Card Reports Available July 31, 2020
The Local Report Card (LRC) folder in the Secure Data Center (SDC) will open on July 31. These reports show many report card measures and serve as an additional way for districts to view their EMIS data reporting.
The Department plans to share more information about which measures will be displayed on the 2020 report cards soon. In the meantime, it is important to understand that even though a calculation is displayed in the SDC, that does NOT mean it will also be published on your 2020 Report Card.
Calculations in the SDC will reflect any and all EMIS data your district has reported, based on the business rules outlined in the report card technical documentation
. For example, you will see a proficiency percentage calculated for each indicator and a Performance Index (PI) score if you reported any applicable tests taken in the 2019-2020 school year. Please note that House Bill 197, enacted in spring 2020, eliminates all letter grades for 2020 report cards. As such, SDC reports will not include letter grades or associated points.
