EMIS Newsflash – June 23, 2014

SDC Now available
The SDC is now available to districts and has been updated with FY2014 Yearend student and testing information submitted to ODE as of Friday, June 20, at 5:00 pm.  The SDC will close again on Wednesday evening for normal mid-week processing and will re-open later in the week.
SDC Release Notes
Known Issues Being Researched:
The Where Kids Count IRN (WKC IRN) is not correctly assigned to the OAA Tests records.  This results in the students counting incorrectly in the testing measures in the SDC.  The students are being correctly included in all non-testing measures.
NOTE:  These students are also being included incorrectly in the NTEST WKC report instead of the ATEST WKC report.
For FY2014 the standard to meet a state indicator in grades 3 – 8 and grade 10 is 80% but the SDC calculations are still using the old standard of 75%.
District and School Gap Closing reports – The AMO measures have not been updated to reflect the FY2014 percentages.  The FY2014 percentages should be:
  • Reading Proficiency = 84.9%
  • Mathematics Proficiency = 80.5
  • Graduation Rate = 78.2
