EMIS Newsflash – June 8, 2017
FY17 Fall Third Grade ELA and Reading Data Appeals Extended
To allow districts time to review relevant SDC reports, the FY17 Fall Third Grade ELA and Reading Data Appeals window has been extended. The appeal, scheduled to close June 8, will now close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
This appeal window includes any data submitted during the Fall 3rd Gr ELA and Reading Collection FY17 (2017AGNFL). Please note this does not include reading diagnostic, RIMP codes, or retention data as the opportunity to report that information in EMIS has not yet closed.
For answers to questions about the data review or data appeals, please contact the Office of Data Quality
New EMIS Coordinator Training – Save the Date
Once again, there will be training for new EMIS Coordinators this August. This training will be offered twice. The dates of the trainings will be Thursday, August 3 and Thursday, August 17. Watch the Newsflashes for additional information (including a notice of when registration will be available).
SDC Now Open
The SDC is now open for review of many of the reports related to the FY17 Local Report Card data.
SDC Release Notes
SDC release notes are posted in a separate SDC Release Notes document
on ODE’s website. The website provides a list of SDC reports, a high level description of whether or not each report is ready for district review, and any important additional details about the status of the report, including any known issues associated with the report as of the last date the website is updated.
SDC Release Notes will also continue to be included in the EMIS Newsflashes that go out when the SDC is open.
