EMIS ITC Conference Call Notes
The notes for the August 26, 2019, ITC Conference Call have been posted. You can find a short description of the purpose of the calls along with a link to the notes on the EMIS website.

2019_RPTCRD_Fund_Type_Expenditures_<filedate>.xls
2019 Building Expenditures by Fund Type (Federal or State/Local)
This file contains building-level expenditure data for all schools, disaggregated by funding type. These data are being reported for the first time on the 2019 Local Report Cards. Public districts will see one tab (DISTRICT_EXPENDITURES) with the following columns:
  • DIST_IRN: The district’s IRN
  • DIST_NAME: The district’s name
  • ORG_IRN: The building’s IRN
  • ORG_NAME: The building’s name
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_SCH_LVL_TOTAL: The total school level spending per pupil
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_SCH_LVL_FED: The share of school level spending per pupil from federal funds
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_SCH_LVL_ST_LOC: The share of school level spending per pupil from state and local funds
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_LEA_SHRE_TOTAL: The school’s total share of district level spending per pupil
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_LEA_SHRE_FED: The school’s share of district level spending per pupil from federal funds
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_LEA_SHRE_ST_LOC: The school’s share of district level spending per pupil from state and local funds
STEM schools, community schools, and dropout prevention and recovery schools (DPR) will also see one tab (BUILDING_EXPENDITURES) with the following columns:
  • ORG_IRN: The school’s IRN
  • ORG_NAME: The school’s name
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_CS_FED: The share of school level spending per pupil from federal funds
  • EXP_PER_EQ_PUP_CS_ST_LOC: The share of school level spending per pupil from state and local funds

2019_CTE_CTPD_OVERALL_GRADE_<file date>.xls
2019 CTPD Overall Grade
This report is only distributed to the CTPD Lead Districts. The workbook contains point assignments for the Achievement, Career & Post-Secondary Readiness, Graduation and Post-Program Outcomes components as well as the calculation of the overall grade for the 2018-2019 CTPD Report Card.

2019_CTE_CTPD_CAREER_PS_READY_COMPONENT_<file date>.xls
2019 CTPD Career & Post-Secondary Readiness Component
This report is only distributed to the CTPD Lead District. This report contains the rates and points for the Career and Post-Secondary Readiness measure.
  • The SUMMARY tab contains the total points earned (numerator), the total number of students in the 4-year graduation cohorts (denominator), the overall percentage, grade and component points earned.
  • The DETAIL_OUTPUT tab contains ‘Y’, ‘N’ flags for each component of the Career and Post-Secondary measure as well as points earned for each SSID included in the measure. Components included are: ACT remediation-free, SAT remediation-free, Honors Diploma awarded, 12 Industry Credential points within a career field, Ohio Means Job Readiness Seal awarded, IB test scores of 4 or higher, AP test scores of 3 or higher, CTAG status met, proficient on a CTE Summative Assessment, 4 Industry Credential points within a career field, 4 CTE courses within a pathway, 3 or more dual enrollment credits, and total points awarded.

2019 CTPD Graduation Component
This report is only distributed to the CTPD Lead District. The workbook contains the rates and points for the 4-year Graduation Rate and 5-year Graduation Rate as well as the calculation of the Graduation Component grade.
