Completion Status for FY20 Data Review for Finance Data Updated
The completion status spreadsheet for the FY20 Data Review for Finance Data has been updated on the EMIS Data Review & Verification webpage. The Department will update this status document every week.

EMIS Data Review and Verification forms are part of EMIS reporting described in Ohio Revised Code 3301.0714. The law requires treasurers to review and certify the quality of data, as noted in Ohio Administrative Code 3301-14-01 (G), by Wednesday, September 23. Failing to complete the process may trigger progressive sanctions outlined in Ohio Administrative Code 3301-17.

Only the treasurer can access and complete the data review forms in the OH|ID portal (formerly SAFE). For more information about the data review window, timeline, and completion process, visit the EMIS Data Review & Verification webpage. For questions regarding data reviews, contact the Department's Office of Data Quality.

FY20 CTE Assessment Data Appeal Open
From Monday, September 21, through Thursday, October 1, superintendents of any district or community school offering CTE programming can review the CTE Assessment data that were reported in EMIS during the FY20 school year. A superintendent who finds inaccurate data should submit an appeal by the deadline using the 2020 Data Appeal for CTE Assessment. This is available in the OH|ID portal (formerly SAFE).

The superintendent, EMIS coordinator, and superintendent designee all have access to fill out the data appeal form. The Department will consider the submission official when the superintendent or designee approves the form and completes the process. For answers to questions regarding the data review or data appeals, contact the Office of Data Quality.
