Data review window opens for Graduation and Prepared for Success

Beginning Monday, June 13 through Wednesday, June 22, superintendents may conduct their required review of 2015 EMIS data that will affect their districts’ Graduation Rate and Prepared for Success components of the 2016 Ohio School Report Cards. Superintendents are to signify whether these data are accurate or not as they complete the “Fiscal Year 2016 EMIS Report Card Data Review for Graduate” form, which is within the Forms application in SAFE. If a superintendent has inaccurate data, he or she should submit an appeal as described here.

Please note that the superintendent, treasurer, EMIS coordinator and superintendent designee have access to fill out the “Fiscal Year 2016 EMIS Report Card Data Review for Graduate” form. The data review is not officially submitted to the department, however, until the superintendent approves the form and completes the process.

To help districts/community schools review these 2015 data, districts should refer to the District and School Graduation Rates reports in the Secure Data Center and use the Prepared for Success data provided by the department in the ODE Document Exchange behind the FORMS application within SAFE.
