SCR Checks Now Running for FY2018
The Student Cross Reference (SCR) checks are now running for the 2017-2018 school year. Cross district errors will only be generated when both districts have reported data in SCR. Therefore, as more districts submit in the SCR, a district may see new errors generated on students that did not have errors before, even though the district did not change any data.

SCR Check Updated
The “STIC” Student Cross Reference (SCR) check has been updated for both the FY17 and FY18 school years. The check has been updated to more accurately check cross district reporting when one of the districts is a JVSD and the JVSD is reporting something other than “*” in the How Received element.

Reminder: Submit in SCR Within 30 Days of Enrollment
Districts are required to submit students through SCR within 30 day of the student’s enrollment in school. There are still several districts, JVSDs, STEM districts, and community schools that have not submitted any data in SCR.

Community School and STEM District Funding Submission Requirement
All community schools and STEM districts are required to submit all students they are educating in both the SOES Beginning of Year Student Collection and the SOES Student Contact(s) Collection in order for the school/district to get funded for those students for the 2017-2018 school year. There are still several schools that have not submitted any students in the SOES Student Contact(s) Collection and some schools that have not yet submitted a SOES Beginning of Year Student Collection.
