Ohio Professional Registry – New Registration Guidelines for Programs Coming Soon!

The Ohio Professional Registry (OPR) is developing new Registration Guidelines for all professionals in ODE-licensed preschool programs. All professionals must maintain a profile in OPR. The OPR is a centralized information system for individuals in Ohio who are employed in the field of early childhood education, including ODE-licensed preschool programs. If you do not have an OPR Profilecreate one here

The new Registration Guidelines will give instructions on how to:
  1. Link each professional’s SAFE account with OEDS and OPR, connecting individuals’ district of employment and site location to identify staff in the new Ohio Child Licensing and System (OCLQS) that launched on January 30, 2017;
  2. Identify a staff person in the OPR as an “Administrator” for each program site;
  3. Enter your Educator State ID number to pull your employer, ODE credentials, Endorsements and Teaching field information from OEDS and import it to OPR for use in the new OCLQS
The new Registration Guidelines will be available soon.
