Certain new licenses will require passage of reading test

Candidates for new early childhood, middle childhood and intervention specialist teaching licenses in Ohio will soon need to pass a new reading test, Foundations of Reading (Ohio Assessment for Educators 090). This change in state law is effective for these licenses that the Ohio Department of Education issues on July 1, 2017, and thereafter. Learn more here.

Prescription meds now rank in the top three most popular drugs of choice among youth, just after marijuana and alcohol. Statistics reveal that ONE in FOUR teens have misused or abused prescription drugs.
