Resources

Ohio's Learning Standards and Model Curriculum - The Ohio Revised Academic Content K-12 Standards and Model Curriculum for Science Education are in full implementation for the 2014-2015 school year. These standards serve as a basis for what all students should know and be able to do in order to become scientifically literate citizens with knowledge and skills for the 21st century workforce and higher education. Ohio educators are provided with the content and expectations for learning upon which to base science curriculum at each grade level.

Cognitive Demands for Science Chart - This framework describes Ohio’s categories of cognitive demand. This includes recalling accurate science, interpreting and communicating science concepts, demonstrating science knowledge and designing technological/engineering solutions using science concepts.
