The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has announced a program, The Ohio Hearing Aid Assistance Program (OHAAP), that provides assistance to families with children under twenty-one years of age with permanent hearing impairments to purchase hearing aids. Families with incomes at or below 400 percent of the federal poverty guidelines are eligible for the program.

The Ohio Teacher Showcase Project highlights ways that Ohio teachers are using technology to support student learning of specific content from Ohio’s New Learning Standards. Teams of Ohio educators have documented their teaching practices through video and lesson materials to provide concrete examples of technology integration. This collection currently includes products from the pilot year of the project that address the New Learning Standards for English language arts.
