Academic Standards Review Committees

With the passage of HB 487 of the 130^th General Assembly on June 16, 2014, Academic Standards Review Committees were established to provide feedback on Ohio’s Learning Standards for the areas of English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.  Each committee is comprised of up to seven members including the Superintendent of Public Instruction, Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents (or their designees) along with others appointed by the Governor, Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate. These committees will also provide feedback for assessments related to the same content areas.
