Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Fee Reimbursement Program
The Ohio Department of Education’s Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Fee Reimbursement Program provides financial support students from low-income families taking Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams. Through a federal grant, the ODE aims to open accessibility, increase participation of low-income students in academically rigorous coursework in public and nonpublic schools and narrow the economic achievement gap. The AP/IB Test Fee program assists school districts with high numbers of minority and low-income students to transform their high schools into educational institutions where all students can be successful and prepared for a global economy and postsecondary education or certification. The Ohio Department of Education is committed to expanding Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate opportunities equitably with an emphasis on addressing the needs of students from low-income families.
The department will update this website when the U.S. Department of Education has provided more information on the FY2016 grant. AP or IB school contacts can be included in a list serve for periodic updates by e-mailing Dwight Groce or signing up for alerts on our GovDelivery.
