On the 2016 Ohio School Report Cards, schools and districts will receive a letter grade for the first time on the Prepared for Success component, which measures how well the school or district is doing in preparing its students for college or careers. To be sure their letter grade is accurate and complete, districts should verify 2015 data submitted through the Educational Management Information System (EMIS) for student graduate records by June 3.
The department has loaded the principal composites as default scores into the electronic Teacher and Principal Evaluation System (eTPES). Superintendent may access through their SAFE accounts individualized Principal Value-Added Composite Reports to assist them in confirming the accuracy of those principal composite scores and completing principal and assistant principal evaluations this year. The reports include composite scores based on value-added measures from the building where the principals and assistant principals served in these roles during the 2014-2015 school year.
