Public comment open for two career-technical education rules

The department invites feedback by Oct. 14, 2016, from parents, school district personnel, community members, businesses and others interested in education on the proposal to keep two Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) rules for career-technical education as they are.


SUTQ Professional Development Requirements

In July, a letter was issued, “Important Changes to SUTQ Professional Development Requirements.” This letter stated the required online courses (Ohio’s Approach to Quality and Ohio’s Overview of Child Development) would be available in the Ohio Professional Registry (OPR) on September 1, 2016. Due to technical difficulties, the courses are not yet available. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. There is a new updated timeline for required online courses.
