Comment Period Open March 1, 2016 through April 1, 2016 for Ohio’s 2016 Part B Federal Application Packet

The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Office for Exceptional Children has developed the draft application packet for funds under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and by this notice is making the application available for review and comment.

Comment period now open for revisions to Ohio’s Learning Standards in English language arts and math

The Ohio Department of Education invites Ohioans to submit suggestions through April 5 as part of a periodic revision process for Ohio’s Learning Standards in English language arts and math. This feedback will help ensure the standards continue reflecting the most recent research and the experience of educators as they help students become ready for college and careers.

Nominations open through March 11 for standards revision working committees in English language arts and mathematics

Through Friday, March 11, educators who have expertise in Ohio’s Learning Standards for English language arts or mathematics may nominate themselves or colleagues to serve on working committees for a standards review process. We are seeking content experts with experience ranging from kindergarten through higher education.
