Metro Catholic HS selected as a Green Ribbon School
This spring, the U.S. Department of Education recognized one chartered nonpublic school in Ohio, Metro Catholic High School in Cleveland, as a Green Ribbon School. The Green Ribbon Award honors selected schools for their exemplary and comprehensive efforts to reduce environmental impact and utility costs, promote better health, and ensure effective environmental education, including civics, STEM, and green career pathways.
Metro Catholic High School is one of 48 schools nationwide chosen for this honor. Two Ohio public schools, Milton-Union Exempted Village Schools and West Geauga High School were also honored. More information on the Green Ribbon Awards is available on the U.S. Department of Education Web page.
