Schools of Honor
The Schools of Honor program recognizes schools that have sustained high achievement and substantial progress while serving a significant number of economically disadvantaged students.
Built upon and aligned with both the Schools of Promise and Ohio’s other accountability-based recognitions, this program acknowledges High Performing Schools of Honor and High Progress Schools of Honor. The U.S. Department of Education approved the program as part of Ohio’s flexibility waiver for the Elementary and Secondary Education Act in 2012.
