McKinney-Vento competitive grant for homeless students available for 
2017-2018 school year

An Ohio school district or community school that has 45 or more students identified as homeless (current grantees | eligible districts) is eligible to compete for the McKinney-Vento federal grant. The purpose of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Children and Youth Program is to ensure that all children and youth, including preschoolers, have equal access to the same free and appropriate public education, as non-homeless children and youth.
