Complaint Procedures for Gifted Education
Situations may arise where parents or district employees believe a school district has violated state law and/or administrative code regarding students who are gifted. The Ohio Department of Education's (ODE's) Office for Exceptional Children (OEC) Gifted Services Section has instituted complaint investigation procedures. OEC reviews written allegations concerning violations of state law and/or administrative code. Below are links for information and the necessary form for filing a complaint.
