Usher Syndrome Training
The Ohio Center for Deafblind Education and the Ohio State School for the Deaf, Center for Outreach Services, funded by the ODE-OEC, are holding training on Usher Syndrome. Ilene Miner will be speaking on the social-emotional impact a diagnosis of Usher Syndrome can have on a teenager, including depression, emotional upset, adaptations in the classroom and parent fears.
This training will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 9:30 - 3:30 at the Ohio Center for Deafblind Education, 5747 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, Ohio 43017. This training is being offered at no cost and lunch will be provided. Please register by April 12, 2013.
