More labs scheduled to help districts complete equity plans
The Ohio Department of Education is offering more one-day equity labs across the state to assist school districts in the equity planning process. Participants will review their Equitable Access Analysis Tools to determine equity gaps, conduct root-cause analyses and identify strategies to address gaps while also setting goals to measure progress. Each district should bring a team of 3-5 people, with possible stakeholders including the superintendent, principals, teachers, human resources staff, federal programs staff, parents and community members.
These one-day events will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
