Registration opens for student growth measures training related to the electronic Teacher and Principal Evaluation System (eTPES)
Superintendents, principals and other administrators who have responsibility for making decisions associated with student growth measures are strongly encouraged to register for an essential half-day training session, which will be conducted by educational service centers from Feb. 6 through March. The training will help administrators meet milestones on the evaluation timeline for the next few months, especially the legal requirements for completing teacher evaluations by May 1 and preparing written reports of the evaluations by May 10.
In the training, participants will learn about important procedures and the business rules for student growth measures, which will help them enter student growth data correctly within eTPES for calculation of the final summative ratings. In addition, attendees will be prepared to provide reports for both individual educators and for their buildings and districts.
