Superintendents may access Principal Value-Added Composite Reports
The department has loaded the principal composites as default scores into the electronic Teacher and Principal Evaluation System (eTPES). Superintendent may access through their SAFE accounts individualized Principal Value-Added Composite Reports to assist them in confirming the accuracy of those principal composite scores and completing principal and assistant principal evaluations this year. The reports include composite scores based on value-added measures from the building where the principals and assistant principals served in these roles during the 2014-2015 school year.
The Principal Composite Business Rules also are posted to provide guidance to superintendents as they review and select appropriate value-added scores. They should select for each principal and assistant principal the value-added score option that most closely reflects the principals’ and assistant principals’ employment in 2014-2015.
To access composite reports, log into SAFE and click on the Forms application. Then click on the folder for your district, choose District Document Exchange from the menu, and open the ODE Document folder. The business rules are available here.
Note that these reports previously were posted in the Collaboration Center within SAFE. For the time being, however, they will remain within the Forms application.
