Software updates to help in RESA task submission

The Resident Educator Summative Assessment (RESA) software is now updated so that candidates may do the following:

  • Create video segments in Task 1 and Task 3;
  • Upload video for Task 2 without time limits.

On Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, candidates will be able to do the following:

  • Complete their RESA profiles;
  • Identify the classes that will participate in the Tripod Student Perception Survey (within the RESA Profile);
  • Finalize and submit Task 1 (once their RESA profiles are complete);
  • Submit PDF documents as evidence of feedback to students in Task 2;
  • Include media (audio and video) submissions as evidence of their professional communication and growth for Task 4.

NOTE: Candidates do not need to complete their RESA profiles to begin work on the tasks. They are currently able to work on all tasks and save their work. Once their RESA profiles are complete, they may submit their final task(s).
