Teachers who receive Value-Added reports – get ready for roster verification
If your district is participating in roster verification of 2013-2014 Value-Added data, know that the teacher portion of the process will run from April 16 through May 13. Beginning March 31, principals of participating districts will receive access to class rosters so they can prepare information for you. These resources will help you review and refine your EMIS class roster to ensure that your classroom time is linked to the correct students, for the correct subjects and the proper amount of time.
To get prepared for your part, you can access a video and other information on the department’s website. In addition, you can select a webinar tailored to the needs of teachers from the complete training schedule. Register for the webinar in STARS by accessing your SAFE account and searching by the desired date or the keywords roster verification. Please note that the registration deadline is three days in advance of each event.
