Fifth-grade submissions to Amber Alert poster contest due Jan. 13
The Ohio Attorney General’s office is leading our state’s efforts to participate in a national poster contest for fifth-grade students, which stresses the theme Bring Our Missing Children Home. By Jan. 13, Ohio schools are to submit their best poster to the Attorney General’s office, which will select a state winner to send to the national sponsor, the U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ). At the National Missing Children’s Day Ceremony in Washington, D.C. in May, the national winner will be announced.
Ohio elementary schools can encourage all their children to practice safety tips by conducting local contests and incorporating related lesson plans into the curriculum.
