Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT)


Change in OGT Participants

There will be a small number of students attending high school who will take the OGT. Starting with the school year 2018-2019, most of the OGT will be administered to adults who have completed their high school requirements and those adults who are completing their high school requirements in an institution such as a community college. In both cases, the adults are required to have a photo ID.

Spring 2018 

Rescores and verifications 

Rescore and verification requests for the spring 2018 OGT will be collected in TIDE for OGT through June 15. Requests are subject to Department approval. There is a $25 charge for each verification request. There is a $25 charge for processing each rescore request unless the rescore results in a score change.

Summer 2018 

Test Window 

The summer 2018 OGT will be administered June 11-24. Summer testing is optional. Participating districts and schools do not have to offer all five tests.

Additional Order Window 

The additional order window for summer will be open June 4-20 in TIDE for OGT. Districts can order answer documents, test booklets and special versions.

Returning Materials 

There is no automatic pick up of materials for the summer administration. Districts will need to arrange for a UPS pick up. Refer to the section “Returning Scorable Answer Documents” on pages 18 and 19 of the District Test Coordinator Manual.
