Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT)
Change in OGT Participants
There will be a small number of students attending high school who will take the OGT. Starting with the fall 2017 test administration, most of the OGT will be administered to adults who have completed their high school requirements and those adults who are completing their high school requirements in an institution such as a community college. In both cases, the adults are required to have a photo ID.
Test Materials and Pre-ID labels due-in-district dates
Test materials will be delivered Oct. 6
for districts that confirmed participation and ordered test materials in TIDE for OGT
by Aug. 25
. District test coordinators that successfully entered Pre-ID data by Aug. 25
will have Pre-ID labels delivered Oct. 6.
District test coordinators can order additional materials or place initial orders in TIDE for OGT
Oct. 6-Nov. 1.
The Pre-processing Record Change Window will be open in TIDE for OGT
Oct. 6-Nov. 10. Note: This is the only record change window for students for the fall 2017 OGT. There will not be a second record change window after the answer documents are processed for OGT students.
The fall 2017 Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT) will be administered Oct. 23-Nov. 5 for those students/adults who enrolled in grade nine for the first time before July 1, 2014 and still need to take and pass one or more subjects of the OGT.
UPS will automatically pick up scorable documents from districts with one high school and joint vocational school location on Oct. 30. UPS will automatically pick up scorable documents from districts with more than one high school on Oct. 31. District test coordinators are responsible for scheduling pickups to return their make-up testers scorable documents, as well as secure test materials and nonscorable answer documents by Nov. 10
