Mentor Checkup

As mentors are engaged in supporting the work of their REs, it may be a good time to conduct a mentor checkup.

In your role as a mentor, are you

  • Acting as change agents by modeling passion and inspiration?
  • Encouraging REs to discuss and write in detail about the Instructional Cycle supported by annotated evidence of student learning and growth?
  • Integrating current practices with Formative Progress Review (FPR) expectations?
