Resources for Ohio Graduation Tests

Students must pass all five parts of the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT) in order to receive high school diplomas. (See Alternative Pathway for Eligibility for a Diploma.) The OGT are aligned to Ohio’s academic content standards, which were adopted by the State Board of Education in English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. These standards have been carefully designed to ensure that students are armed with the knowledge they need to be successful in higher educational pursuits as well as the jobs and careers of the future.
