The most effective community service-learning takes place when schools, families and communities work together to undertake projects that not only benefit communities, but increase student learning through meaningful real-world experiences. National Service-Learning Clearinghouse - Resources to facilitate community service-learning partnerships.
National Network of Partnership Schools - Established at Johns Hopkins University in 1996, NNPS invites schools, districts, states and organizations to join together to use research-based approaches for organizing and sustaining excellent family and community involvement programs.
Harvard Family Research Project - Resources to help stakeholders develop and evaluate strategies to promote the well being of children, youth, families and their communities.
