Review report card data, differentiated accountability systems guide

Districts and school administrative staff must log in to the OHID portal to review and approval report card reports. Ohio law requires districts to report data to EMIS and to verify as well as approve all EMIS data. All data should be reviewed and verified before the close of the different data collections.

Ohio Department of Health vision and hearing screening training available

Ohio law requires schools to provide vision and hearing screening, contract with any person or governmental entity to provide the screening or request the guardian to obtain a screening from a provider selected by the guardian.
 
The Ohio Department of Health offers free hearing and vision screening training for school nurses and screening volunteers to help address barriers that prevent students from engaging in learning. Participants will learn about common hearing and vision disorders, understand Ohio’s vision and hearing screening requirements, and receive hands-on training with screening equipment.
