Join Stay in the Game!, The Cleveland Browns and the Department of Education and Workforce for attendance convening

Districts and schools are invited to attend the Engaging School Communities, Inspiring Attendance Convening. Hosted by Stay in the Game!, The Cleveland Browns Foundation and the Department of Education and Workforce, this event will take place June 14 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Columbus.
The attendance convening is designed to elevate and promote the recommendations of the Ohio Attendance Task Force while emphasizing the crucial connection between attendance and engagement. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in enlightening sessions, engaging discussions, and practical workshops aimed at empowering educators and district leaders in their attendance initiatives.
Speakers include:
- Dr. Todd Rogers, Harvard behavioral scientist and co-author of “Writing for Busy Readers: Communicate More Effectively in the Real World.”
- Dr. Jamie Meade, on the Science of Hope
- Ohio leaders director Steve Dackin, Ohio Department of Education and Workforce; Dee Haslam, owner, Cleveland Browns and HSG; and more
This is a team-oriented event. Districts may
register a maximum of four team members, with at least two of those being classroom teachers. Register soon to secure a spot at this important gathering, as space is limited. Districts may submit additional team members and then may be contacted in the event space becomes available for them to participate.
