Review report card data, differentiated accountability systems guide

To ensure accurate 2023-2024 report cards, it is imperative that district and school administrative staff log in to the OHID portal to review and approve report card reports. Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code require districts to report data to EMIS and to verify as well as approve all EMIS data. All data should be reviewed and verified before the close of the different data collections.

Please read the EMIS News Flash to see the newest reports available and refer to the Secure Data Center Status of Reports page to review which reports have data for the 2023-2024 school year. Contact EMIS@education.ohio.gov or call 614-387-0395 with any questions.

During the data review process, school and administrative staff are encouraged to utilize the Understanding Student Placement for Ohio’s Differentiated Accountability Systems, a comprehensive guide that includes the Where Kids Count Methodology as well as other business rules that determine how students are included in the report card calculations.
