Approved applicants to be notified in June

The Innovative Education Pilot Program application for the 2025-2026 school year is available now.

Per Ohio law, any school district, educational service center, or chartered nonpublic school may apply for statutory or administrative rule exemptions for the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative programs.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16. The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce will notify applicants in June.
