District webpage links needed for Ohio School Report Cards
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce invites school districts, community schools, and Career-Technical Planning Districts to submit a link to a webpage showcasing their unique qualities and successes. These district profile links will appear on the Ohio School Report Cards, providing direct access to a district’s website. Districts and schools should submit links to be published on the 2025 Ohio School Report Cards by Aug. 29.
District profile links reside in the Ohio Educational Directory System (OEDS). Links can be viewed or updated by logging in to OEDS and navigating to the General tab, then viewing the Organization Identity Box under the header, District’s Profile Page. For further instructions on how to update this information, districts should use the OEDS Manual.
Districts and schools should ensure that the URL provided is a fully qualified and complete web address, such as: https://www.example.com/products/item123.html as seen in the screenshot below.
While updates to OEDS can be made at any time, each district should be sure to review and update its web address if it has changed. If a district or community school previously submitted a webpage link and it has changed but not been updated, that same link will appear on the report cards.
Any updates to OEDS data made after the report cards are released will not be reflected.
The web address must be provided or updated in OEDS by Aug. 29, but the design and content of the district’s webpage do not need to be finalized until the report cards are released in mid-September.
