Mark calendars for upcoming virtual informational session

Register to attend the virtual information session, “BAC Strategies That Work! Building Successful Business Advisory Councils,” Aug. 23 from 9-11 a.m. This virtual event will feature practitioners, industry professionals and members from the Department sharing strategies for community collaboration and how to strengthen a Business Advisory Council.

The session also will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions about annual Business Advisory Council Plans, which are required by Ohio law. All school districts, educational service centers and joint vocational school districts representing school districts as Business Advisory Councils must submit plans in the Forms Submission application through OH|ID by Sept. 30.

The 2022-2023 Business Advisory Council Survey located in the Forms Submission application through OH|ID now is open through Sept. 30. The Department uses the survey responses to identify the format of councils and to gain an understanding of where Business Advisory Councils are located geographically throughout the state.
